Run Pickleball
Practical resources, ideas and support for people running — or wanting to run — pickleball.
Badfit is developing Run Pickleball — a new resource and community for pickleball coaches, leaders, organisers and players who want to do more with the sport.

From running your first Beginner Workshop and finding a suitable venue, to developing regular sessions, clubs and player pathways, we want to share what we've learned — and create a place where people running pickleball can learn from each other.

Built from a Real Pickleball Business - Badfit doesn't just teach pickleball — we run regular clubs, workshops, development sessions and events, introducing new players to the sport every month.

We've developed our own systems for attracting beginners, delivering successful workshops and helping players progress into regular pickleball.

We're now exploring how we can share those systems with other people who want to start delivering pickleball themselves.
Sound like something you'd be interested in?

We're interested in hearing from:
-
Existing pickleball leaders and coaches
-
Badminton, tennis and other racket-sports coaches
-
Personal trainers and sports professionals
-
Existing clubs wanting to introduce beginner programmes
-
People already helping to organise local pickleball
-
People interested in building their own local pickleball activity or business
Whether you simply want the confidence and tools to deliver great sessions, or have ambitions to build something larger, we'd like to hear from you.

What We're Working On
How to Run a Beginner Workshop
We're currently developing a practical resource based on the Beginner Workshop format we use at Badfit — including session structure, timings, court setup, group management and helping complete beginners get playing.

Starting Your First Pickleball Sessions
Where do you start? We'll explore venues, court requirements, player numbers, equipment, costs and some of the things we've learned from getting Badfit sessions up and running.

Running a Great Club
Player numbers, rotations, mixed abilities, standards, session formats and creating an environment people want to come back to.

Drills, Sessions & Player Development
Practical session ideas and resources that can be taken onto court — from beginner development through to skills-based sessions and regular play.

Equipment & Setup
What do you actually need? We'll share the equipment we use and test at Badfit, alongside practical advice for setting up and delivering sessions without unnecessarily overspending.

Building Something Bigger
For those interested in creating additional income or developing their own pickleball activity, we'll also be exploring the commercial side — pricing, marketing, attracting players, systems and growth.
Coaches' Corner
Not everything has one right answer.
We're looking to introduce regular online Coaches' Corner conversations for people involved in running pickleball.

A place to discuss the real questions that come up when you're actually doing it:
How are you finding good venues?
How many players work well across three courts?
How do you manage mixed abilities?
What's working with your beginners?
How are you progressing players into regular play?
What equipment are you using?
Share what's working, ask questions and learn from other people doing the same thing.

We're Building This Now

We're currently developing the first Badfit training programme and want to speak with people who could genuinely see themselves using it.
The first programme is likely to combine online learning and resources with practical training at Badfit HQ in Bourne End, Buckinghamshire.
There is no commitment to purchase anything by registering your interest.

We're particularly interested in understanding what you would want to learn, what you're hoping to achieve and what level of support would be useful.

Register below and we'll keep you updated as the programme develops.
