More Than Just a Badminton Club
Badfit was created with one simple goal: to help more people discover the enjoyment of racket sports in a welcoming and supportive environment.
What began through a passion for badminton has grown into a thriving community, offering badminton and pickleball sessions for players of all ages and abilities across Buckinghamshire.
We believe sport should be enjoyable, accessible and something people look forward to every week. Whether you're picking up a racket for the first time, returning after years away or looking to develop your skills, Badfit provides a friendly place to learn, improve and belong.
Our focus has always been about more than just coaching. We aim to build confidence, encourage an active lifestyle and create a community where lasting friendships are made on and off the court.
Today, hundreds of players choose Badfit because they know they'll receive quality coaching, a warm welcome and an enjoyable experience every time they visit.

Meet Chris
Chris Porter is the founder of Badfit and a qualified Badminton England Level 2 Coach with over 20 years of playing and coaching experience.
Having represented Buckinghamshire as a county junior player, Chris has spent much of his life involved in competitive badminton while also developing a passion for introducing new players to the sport.
His coaching style is built around patience, encouragement and practical learning. Rather than overwhelming players with technical detail, Chris focuses on creating enjoyable sessions that help people build confidence, improve naturally and leave wanting to come back for more.
As Badfit has grown, Chris has expanded beyond badminton into pickleball, helping hundreds of beginners take their first steps into one of the world's fastest-growing sports. His philosophy remains the same across both sports:
